I have great admiration for this gentleman. In fact, I have spoken to him countless times in Hokkien mind you. Seriously, if the going gets tough, the tough gets going. However, after reading his account on NST, I am pretty certain his adversary that trounced him at Permatang Pauh, is indicating that he will join Pakatan. I wouldn't mind if this man moves into the fold of the PKR government.
