The CM has decided to instruct MPPP to revoke all approved plans that will allow the developer to build on the land. Secondly, efforts will be done to work with the developer to allocate space for the residents to co-exist with the development project. Either way, a decision has been made and this has indeed "broke new grounds" in light of the possibilty of the BN federal government to impose emergency rule in Penang. I am sure this is a good decision but for the residents they will be in difficult situation for not accepting any form of compensation. I will be with the residents on August 3. Will MIC join us to prevent the demolition? Will BN do the same against the developer which whom they have links with?
