By election in Penang?

I received an SMS from Azizan who is from Protocol of the Penang State Government informing me that YB Hamdan of Permatang Pasir passed away peacefully at 0610. This means his seat will now be left vacant and most likely a by-election will be called. I have talked to this man a few times before and he is a long-term serving PAS candidate for this constituency. God bless his soul. He won by 5433 votes in 2008 General Elections.
